Itinerary:
DAY 1 – Padang ➝ Siberut ➝ Uma
- Depart from Padang to Siberut by ferry
- Pick-up by car to the drop-off point
- Continue by motorized tuk-tuk to the trekking trail
- Trek through the forest until arriving at the Uma (traditional Mentawai house)
- Welcome by the host family, dinner, and rest
DAY 2 – Daily Life of the Mentawai Tribe
- Breakfast at the Uma
- Learn how to make traditional Mentawai fire
- Forest walk to find medicinal plants
- Lunch with the Mentawai host family
- Learn to make traditional Mentawai bracelets
- Free time and rest
DAY 3 – Hunting & Tattoo Philosophy
- Breakfast
- Join local hunters for forest hunting
- Learn to read animal tracks and forage for natural food
- Lunch at the Uma
- Introduction to the philosophy and meaning of traditional Mentawai tattoos by the Sikerei family
- Dinner and overnight stay
DAY 4 – Nature Activities & Waterfall

- Forest walk to observe natural food gathering activities
- If weather permits, visit a small natural waterfall for bathing
- Return to the Uma for lunch and rest
DAY 5 – Sikerei Ritual, Forest Medicine & Traditional Dance
